Here at Central State Apportioned Tag Agency we are focused on processing the necessary paperwork to assist customers in obtaining their IRP apportioned tags.  Please ensure that your IRP Application is complete, and you have all required documents on hand to ensure the timely processing of your account. All of the forms and information you need to complete the application are available, and downloadable, here on our website. If you need assistance with completing your application, ensuring all documents are acquired, or completing your Form 2290 to comply with the required vehicle use tax, we will provide you with information of companies that can help you. Centrally located in Florida, we service the entire state and process all applications in house.

IRP Apportioned Tags

International Registration Plan (IRP) is the registration required for commercial vehicles who load and deliver products across state lines.  Upon completion of your IRP processing, you will leave our facility with your new apportioned license plate.

How We Help

We assist applicants with processing their IRP applications, which can be confusing, complicated, and time consuming. However, please remember we are a processing facility, not a carrier service. We cannot fill out your paperwork for you. We accept walk-ins, or you can email your completed packet and supporting documents to us and we will process it and email your invoice back to you. The following information is needed when applying for this type of tag.

  • Completed Form 85900
  • Completed 2290 Schedule 1 (if acquired vehicle more than 60 days ago)
  • Current Certificate of Insurance
  • Signed Power of Attorney Form, if sending someone else to complete Forms
  • Signed Record Keeping Agreement
  • Lease, if not operating under your own authority
  • Florida title, (if out of state title we will need the front and back of title and VIN verification).  If there are any signatures on your title you must get title work completed first at your local DMV
